The Investment Committee Bootcamp

  • Course Overview

The Investment Committee Bootcamp (ICB) is the most intense 4-day training in configuring high performance investment committees. Participants will be introduced to best practices on configuration and collaboration techniques, which are applied to their own case and tested through a competition based-simulation of an investment committee at the end. The ICB is being taught by Dr. Markus Schuller.

Investment committees are well established decision-making bodies. They are expected to utilize the competencies of their participants in order to take the most informed investment decisions. This is rarely the case. Instead, they often get exposed to group biases, conflicts and formalities, leading to suboptimal investment decisions.
Learn how to configure an investment committee to achieve most evidence-based decisions. Explore best practices that help your team to focus. Enable them to master challenges, setbacks and even crises better than others. A crucial comparative advantage. The bootcamp is designed as a competition-based investment committee simulation. Lessons learned are immediately practiced and reflected.
