Credit Suisse hires new Singapore-based FX options director

Credit Suisse in Singapore has added a new director and head of FX for developed markets options to its currency trading operations.

Dominic Yip has joined the Swiss bank and will report to Simon Hards, Credit Suisse’s London-based global head of FX options trading and structuring. Yip was formerly director of FX options trading at Citi in London, leaving the bank in September 2011.

Previously, Yip was an FX options trader at Dresdner Kleinwort from June 2007 until October 2009.

Credit Suisse was ranked eighth in Euromoney’s annual FX survey this year, unchanged from the previous year. In Asia, excluding Japan, the firm rose two places to 10th.
