Credit Suisse hires Amanti for FX structuring in Asia

Credit Suisse has hired Giovanni Amanti from Barclays Capital, as a director for FX structuring in Asia, a Credit Suisse spokesman has confirmed.

Amanti will be based in Singapore, as he was at BarCap, and will report globally to Simon Hards, global head of FX options trading and structuring, and locally to Bikram Chaudhury, head of structuring for fixed income Asia Pacific. Credit Suisse was ranked 3rd in this year’s Euromoney FX options volume survey with a market share of 9%, the first year the poll has been conducted. However, in Asia it is lagging the two main regions, with a ranking of 11th position, with a market share of 2.28%.
