Calyon loses emerging markets FX head; joining CBA

Keith Taylor, the head of emerging markets spot foreign exchange at Calyon in London, has left the firm, sources have told EuromoneyFXNews.

He is believed to be joining the London office of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), the sources say. This would make Taylor the third FX departure from Calyon to join CBA in the past nine months.

Kieran Salter became CBA’s head of global sales for FX, interest rates and commodities last September, and Andy Hellard, joined the Australian bank in February as a senior salesperson for global FX institutions. Before their time at Calyon, Salter and Hellard worked at National Australia Bank in London.

Calyon and CBA spokeswomen both declined to comment on Taylor’s departure and hiring.
