Alternative investments market round-up: RAB buys Northwest
RAB's recent acquisition is second in two years.
RAB Capital, a $4.2 billion hedge funds group, has bought hedge fund group Northwest Investment Management for £20.55 million ($38.54 milllion). Northwest runs four Asia-focused market-neutral trading strategies with $500 million in assets under management. The acquisition is RAB’s second in as many years. Last year the firm acquired Cross Asset Management, the $230 million European event-driven hedge funds firm.
