NAC Aviation Ltd, the sole UK distributor for the Raytheon Aircraft Company, one of America's largest general aviation manufacturers, has chosen to outsource its entire finance function to Vantis Outsource. The partnership with Vantis will allow NAC's directors to free themselves of day-to-day finance issues, such as management accounts, VAT and credit control, in order to stay focused on sales, marketing and business development.
Peter Griffith, Director of NAC Aviation, explains, "Before we outsourced our finance function to Vantis the directors spent up to two days a week on finance-related issues, which meant we were being too inwardly-focused. Now we have outsourced our financial management we are far more sales-focused and this has already resulted in increased revenues in the region of $50 million."
Griffith continues, "Outsourcing the finance function has allowed the directors to concentrate on what we do best. Our core competencies are in sales and business development, and we don't have the time or the skills to effectively manage the finance function on a day-to-day basis."
