João Albino Winkelmann (JW) is head director of Bradesco Private Bank and also head of the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association’s (ANBIMA) Private Banking Committee. He set up Bradesco’s Grand Cayman operations and became general manager of the New York branch, returning to São Paulo in 2002 to run international business.

His career in finance began in 1998, at Unibanco Private Bank, with subsequent experience at Banco Fator and Itaú Corretora. He joined Itaú Private Bank in 2003 as a relationship manager, becoming commercial director in 2011.
