ABN AMRO has appointed James Courtenay to the new role of Head of European High Yield and Leveraged Finance.
The move, says the bank, confirms its commitment to the European high yield and leveraged finance markets.
Courtenay will have dual responsibility for developing the bank's European high yield business as well as leading its burgeoning leveraged finance activities, with the aim of creating an integrated platform.
Courtenay is a former MD at Bankers Trust
