Transaction banking trailblazer: Lisa Robins, Standard Chartered
The global head of transaction banking at StanChart says: 'We will see better results if we work together.'
When Euromoney asks Lisa Robins, global head of transaction banking at Standard Chartered, what her greatest achievements have been during a career spanning 38 years, she is reluctant to highlight any one thing.
She is keen not to take credit for something she has worked on as part of a team.
“Transaction banking is the part of the bank where any individual success is a direct result of what the team has achieved,” says Robins.
“I think that is one of the reasons that transaction banking attracts the type of person it does – people that thrive within a team environment.”
