Up till now Lloyds has supplied 24-hour spot FX cover from a London-based night desk.
However, David Atchison joins the clearer’s Sydney office on Monday as part of the initiative to provide a global round-the clock coverage. Atchison has 20 years of spot experience having started his career at Morgan Stanley, London before moving to RBC, Sydney and, most recently, Toronto Dominion, Singapore.
Brian Spencer, HBOS’s spot cable trader for eight years, has been seconded to Lloyds, New York to cover the US time zone.
