Best managed companies in Asia 2012: Methodology


	return to the Euromoney Asia Best Managed Companies: Results index

Euromoney's Annual Asia Company ranking is based on a survey of market analysts at leading banks and research institutes in Asia. Polling took place from 1st September to the 28th October and Euromoney targeted equity analysts covering Asian companies.

Respondents are asked to nominate the top three companies in each of the countries or sectors they covered, bearing in mind market strength, profitability, growth potential and quality of management and earnings.

Points are awarded on the scale of 4:3:2 for nominations for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

We received replies from 144 analysts in 2012 covering nominations for 171 different companies.
