Former Lehman employee lets loose tirade of obscenities directed at his new Barclays bosses

Rage against the dying of the light

On October 21 a former Lehman employee arrived in the new Barclays office after hearing he still had a job – unlike many of his former colleagues.

But minutes after arriving the employee discovered that his computer wouldn’t turn on. The problem turned out to be a loose power cord. But the employee only realized this after he had let loose a tirade of obscenities directed at his new Barclays bosses and Lehman chief executive Dick Fuld, according to a witness. We can only assume Barclays aren’t keeping this employee on because of his electrical expertise or sharp tongue.
