Currensee: Not for voyeurs

I’m not infallible – I once insisted that the internet would never provide a suitable network to trade over – so I will be careful how I assess a company called Currensee, which claims to be “the first Forex trading social network”.

I will resist rating the chances of success of its Facebook-like networking forum because I really don’t understand such things and because Currensee, which is an introducing broker, has put out a series of cheeky adverts on YouTube. They will undoubtedly fall foul of the PC-brigade but possibly appeal to many retail FX punters.

The company says its site “is not for voyeurs or pretend investors, it’s restricted to people who have an active foreign exchange trading account and link that account to the Currensee site.” Apparently, 1,000 users have already signed up.
