People moves: Saxo to announce new management team
Well-placed sources say that Saxo Bank is poised to unveil its new management structure following its recent streamlining. The executive management will consist of Eric Rylberg and Karsten Poulsen, who continue in their roles as chief executive director and deputy chief executive overseeing the bank’s day-to-day operations, and a new chief commercial officer, head of markets, head of group IT and operations and chief financial officer.
Apparently Saxo veteran Torben Kaaber will be announced as chief commercial officer; Claus Nielsen, who joined in 2003, will be head of markets; Tore Fribert becomes head of group IT and operations and Karina Deacon will join in December as its new CFO.
Albert Maasland, who joined Saxo in November 2007 and was part of the former senior executive management group, has been asked to move back to the UK and head Saxo’s London office.
