RBC Capital Markets has hired Nigel Rendell as senior European emerging markets strategist, based in the London office. Rendell, who has over 20 years’ experience as an economist and strategist, joins the bank from Calyon, where he was senior FX strategist in London and, previously, a senior economist in Singapore. He spent 13 years before that at HSBC. Rendell reports to Nick Chamie, head of emerging markets research, and Russell Jones, global head of fixed income and currency research.
