Love is in the cyber-air

While we're celebrating the best of the web in Euromoney's technology poll this month, mention must be made of Christian Mundigo, head of long-term interest rates trading, Europe, Japan & Asia, at BNP Paribas. Christian and his wife Braden's personal site (www.harvestmoonhill.com) is intuitive, user-friendly, and easily navigable.

Functionality includes edifying updates on the Mundigo's barn conversion and a wedding photo album where users can create their own account and upload prints of the couple's happy day.

Users are only a click away from a helpful FAQ page that explains why the couple live in Rhinebeck, NY ("Because our neighbors are wonderful. Because we have a very cool Ford F-150 in Rhinebeck, named Birt"), and why the site is mainly red ("Because red is the color associated with love in the west, and with prosperity and good fortune in the east. Because we like red. Because it is a happy color. Just because"). If anyone were in any doubt about just how happy Christian and Braden are, constantly in view in the top left-hand corner of each page on the site is a picture of them sat in front of a 12-foot high sculpture of the word 'Love' – in red, of course.
