Fixi appoints former MF Global FX chief

Fixi, the London-based FX broker, has hired the former deputy global head of FX at MF Global to run its US operations.

Frank Lentini, who is based in New Jersey, joins the firm as president and chief executive officer of Fixi Americas. Lentini, who spent 18 years at MF Global, from 1992 to 2010, reports to Richard Wynn, Fixi’s London based chief executive. Wynn is also an MF Global veteran, having left the firm in 2008.

Fixi provides FX liquidity to high-wealth clients as well as institutional clients such as small funds, asset managers, CTAs and smaller banks. As well as its own client flow, the firm sources FX liquidity from 15 large banks as well as non-bank liquidity providers such as hedge funds.

The firm says Lentini’s appointment will takes its expansion to the “next level in creating a full service foreign exchange product suite in the Americas”.
