Credit Suisse Asia FX sales head departs bank

The head of Credit Suisse’s FX sales for Asia Pacific has left the bank.

Ivan Chan joined Credit Suisse in 2001 and was based in Singapore. He has reportedly left the bank to take time out to travel.

Chan is being replaced by Eng Chien Chan, who will take on the new role as well as continue in his current position as head of Credit Suisse’s southeast Asia and India corporate and financial institutions sales based in Singapore.

Ivan Chan was part of Credit Suisse’s hedge fund sales team before becoming head of global FX sales for Asia in 2008. Previously, he worked for AIG from 1993 to 2001.
