Users of dbSelect can now access State Street’s developed market currency programme, as well as its emerging market currency strategy. The two strategies are managed through State Street’s proprietary quantitative investment process, with target volatility at 15% in normal market conditions. Managed investment platforms, such as dbSelect, allow hedge fund managers to offer multiple ways of accessing investment strategies, while reducing counterparty risk and increasing liquidity for investors.
Deutsche’s dbSelect now offers more than 150 hedge fund programmes made up of currency, commodity, global macro, volatility arbitrage and managed futures strategies.
The platform has attracted more $5 billion in assets under management from pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, private banks, insurance companies and funds of funds.
