Tanya Laing, who traded CEE currencies at Deutsche Bank, has been hired as a senior trader to be based in London, the people say. She resigned from Deutsche last week. It is not known when she will start at Barclays.
Before joining Deutsche in 2010, Laing worked at ABN Amro for eight years, both in London and Sydney, having commenced her career with ANZ in Wellington in 1994.
Barclays declined to comment on her hire.
