James Banister, who was in the team that established Citi’s FX eCommerce products in the banking market in the 1990s, has joined the board of FxPro UK. Banister, who also worked for FXall and Bear Stearns, is president of FXecosystem, the network company that builds connectivity in the FX market, and is also a director of CM2 Partners.
The news comes just days after FxPro announced it was switching from market-making to an agency model.
FxPro has over 15,000 clients in more than 150 countries and recorded trading volumes of $95 billion per month in the first quarter.
