Nomura loses FX trading head Pearson; set to join RBS

James Pearson, global head of G10 spot FX trading at Nomura, has left the firm, according to sources who spoke to EuromoneyFXNews.

Pearson, also head of European emerging markets FX trading, joined Nomura from Lehman Brothers in 2008, and reported to Richard Gladwin, global head of foreign exchange. Nomura declined to comment.

Pearson is believed to be joining Royal Bank of Scotland later this summer, according to people familiar with the situation. RBS declined to comment.
