BNP’s head of FX sales Clive Banks to leave
Clive Banks, head of FX and local market sales at BNP Paribas in London, is leaving the bank, a company spokesperson has confirmed.
Banks, who joined the bank in August 2005 from Citi, plans to retire from the financial markets and focus his attention on personal business interests, the spokesperson said. A replacement will be announced in due course.
Since 2007 BNP has improved its ranking in the annual Euromoney FX survey from 15th to 11th place in the 2011 survey. It achieved its best position of 10th place in the 2009 survey.
