FX people moves: CME gets new exchange director

CME has appointed Edemir Pinto, CEO of the Brazilian exchange Bmf&Bovespa, to the company's board of directors until 2012.

CME has a cross-equity ownership agreement with Bmf&Bovespa; each has a 5% stake in the other.


CME Group already holds a seat on Bmf&Bovespa’s board of directors. Pinto joined Bmf&Bovespa in 1986 and was named CEO in 1999.
