The man who made the markets


LOH BOON CHYE has in his 15 years at Deutsche Bank patiently built out its markets business in Asia from a small trading base in Hong Kong and Singapore to the pan-regional powerhouse that it is today. The quiet, unassuming Singaporean has focused on getting the right local licences in each of the 17 Asian countries Deutsche operates in, building out the trading desks and encouraging local authorities to develop corporate bond and derivatives markets.
