CLS has appointed James Holdcroft, formerly of General Atlantic, Lehmans and First Boston, as chief legal officer, effective from Monday this week.
Holdcroft joins the senior management team and has responsibility for both the legal and compliance functions at CLS. He is based in New York and reports to CEO Alan Bozian.
Bozian says: “It is clear that this is a time of significant importance and change for the foreign exchange industry and those that serve it. I am pleased that James has joined our team. His many years of experience as a senior officer in the financial services industry and as an attorney will complement the expertise of our existing team.”
