FX people moves: Morgan Stanley hires Hong

David Hong joined Morgan Stanley at the end of August as head of FX and emerging markets trading for Asia, responsible for G10 FX and all emerging markets currency and rates trading in the region. He is based in Hong Kong.


Hong reports globally into Stephen Glynn and Senad Prusac, co-heads of FXEM, and regionally to Ranodeb ‘Ronnie’ Roy, head of interest rates, credit and currency for Asia-Pacific.


Hong has over 20 years trading experience in Asian markets, most recently as head of global Asian FX and short-term interest rate trading and Asia-Pacific head of FX trading at RBS/ABN in Singapore.
