OCBC is Euromoney’s choice for ASEAN’s best cash management bank, reflecting the breadth of its regional cash management franchise and its ability to deliver integrated treasury, payments and liquidity solutions across ASEAN.
During 2025, OCBC continued to enhance its digital cash management capabilities across the region. In Indonesia, the bank expanded its API ecosystem, including API FX functionality that allows clients to initiate payments and foreign exchange transactions directly from enterprise resource planning systems.
During 2025, API activity increased by more than 150% year-on-year, while transaction values grew by 300% year-on-year, demonstrating strong client adoption of automated treasury solutions. The bank also introduced Mandarin– language capabilities on its corporate banking platform, strengthening support for Chinese corporates operating across ASEAN.

OCBC’s regional proposition is particularly evident in key ASEAN corridors. In Singapore and Malaysia, the bank supported companies expanding into the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone through digitally integrated cross-border account opening, consolidated visibility over accounts in both countries, and same-day cross-border fund transfers. OCBC also became the first bank to use Singapore’s national digital identity framework for remote business account onboarding outside Singapore, reducing account opening timelines from approximately three weeks to as little as five working days.
The bank’s innovation is matched by practical client delivery. In Indonesia, OCBC implemented API-based payment solutions for a leading finance company, enabling scalable, automated payment processing capable of handling high transaction volumes. It also delivered an integrated digital collections and payments ecosystem combining e-invoicing, virtual accounts and digital banking capabilities for a major tourism operator, improving reconciliation, visibility and operational efficiency.
Across ASEAN, OCBC has further strengthened cash management through expanded virtual account capabilities, real-time payment integration, automated reconciliation and enhanced liquidity management tools. During the review period, the bank reported double-digit growth in transaction volumes and continued to accelerate digital adoption, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s leading providers of technology-led cash management solutions.
