Saxo has confirmed that the well-liked and well-connected Nick Beecroft is acting as a consultant at its London office, although I’m not sure how attractive that is, given that the office recently suffered from an outbreak of swine flu.
Beecroft was previously global head of FX at Standard Chartered Bank and he also held senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Citibank. “Nick Beecroft brings us over 25 years of international trading experience within the financial industry. His in-depth understanding and experience of the foreign exchange market will reinforce Saxo Bank’s position in the market as the choice of the professional trader and will help to build an even greater presence in the UK," says Albert Maasland, head of Saxo’s London office.
