Inflation-linked debate: The upside of rising prices

Paul Wynn (PW – chair) is a senior portfolio manager at Western Asset, responsible for the global inflation-linked product. Western is one of the world’s largest fixed-income managers, managing assets of more than $570 billion.

Christian Alibert (CA) is co-head of inflation trading at Royal Bank of Scotland. He began in risk management at NatWest Markets in 1992, traded NatWest’s first inflation swap in 1995 and has been involved in inflation trading ever since. He now has global responsibility for non-core inflation indices and non-linear inflation products.

Matthieu Robert (MR) is head of inflation trading at Dresdner Kleinwort.

David Dyer (DD) is investment manager, fixed income, at Axa Investment Managers in London and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. He has had experience across a wide range of asset classes including equities and the full spectrum of fixed-interest investments.
