Gilardi previously held senior roles at several firms as a buy-side trader, including ING Capital Markets and Crédit Agricole in New York. He also worked for JPMorgan in London, Milan and Zurich.
TradingScreen, established in 1999, provides electronic execution-management infrastructure to the financial markets, such as order routing for equity, futures and options, foreign exchange and fixed-income instruments, which allows both buy-side and sell-side firms to connect to multiple trading exchanges.
Last month the firm launched a position and portfolio risk analysis package for orders and execution, the first execution-management system of its kind to offer such an integrated offering.
