Best Bank: Garanti Bank
Best Equity House: Is Yatirim
Best Debt House: ABN Amro
Best M&A House: Goldman Sachs

That’s thanks to an impressive set of results in the past year, which has seen it post the best figures of the three for a range of measures including net banking income growth, up 47.5%, and pre-tax income growth, up 39.9%. Looking ahead to 2008, the country’s big three face a growing challenge from a revitalized Yapi Kredi Bank. Thanks to the backing of UniCredit and Koc Holding, YKB looks on course to gatecrash the party next year as it seeks to regain its one-time market leadership.
