Brian Hensley will join as a managing director, replacing Mike Cooper and will commence later this year. It is not known at this stage who he will be reporting to.
Hensley spent 3-years at Nomura where he headed up the emerging markets FX and rates sales desk, covering hedge funds and reported to Gareth Williams,head of emerging markets sales. Prior to that he had spent his entire career at Citi where he began in 1996, switching to EM sales in 2006.
A BAML spokesman declined to comment on the hire.
