Scotiabank Chile leveraged broad client coverage and regional execution capabilities to expand its sales and trading franchise during 2025. Its strategy centred on deepening relationships beyond lending by cross-selling FX, rates, fixed income, derivatives, equities and credit across institutional, corporate, mid-market, SME and retail segments.
The business achieved healthy sales growth despite compressed spreads and difficult conditions in Chilean rates markets. Client numbers and traded volumes both rose, supported by demand from companies seeking longer term funding and associated hedging.
Digital investment made execution faster and more accessible.
