Structured credit roundtable: The leveraged loan revolution

Tosh Burns (TB) is co-head of European origination and structuring, structured securities group at Bank of America. He is responsible for managing the bank’s European structured securities businesses, focusing on sourcing, executing and distributing CDO product in Europe.
David Forbes-Nixon (DFN) is managing director, chief investment officer and head of Europe at Alcentra. He acts as senior portfolio manager of Alcentra’s 12 European CDOs and the European credit fund and chairs the Alcentra European investment committee.
Ian Hazelton (IH) has been CEO of Babson Capital Europe since its inception in 2000. He heads a team of 38 people managing 11 funds with approximately €4.9billion in assets. Previously Ian worked for 3i and was with RBS for 16 years.
Alan Kerr (AK) is managing director of Harbourmaster Capital Management, an independent collateral manager with AUM of €5 billion. A specialist in senior secured leveraged loans and ABS, Harbourmaster has completed eight CLO transactions of 100% senior secured leveraged loans since 2001. Alan has been with Harbourmaster since 2000.
David Reilly (DR) is a partner at Indicus Advisors LLP, a structured alternative investment manager focusing on European leveraged finance and global structured products markets.
Loïc Fery (LF) is a managing director of Calyon, the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole. He has been global head of structured credit and CDOs since 2001. His responsibilities include structured credit trading and sales and CDO structuring.
Alfred Haslinger (AH) is a partner at Alegra. He is a former vice-president of Centre Insurance International, where he was responsible for structuring and executing a number of big ticket transactions in Centre’s structured asset finance area. He was also a member of Centre’s European CDO group.
Mark Hale (MH) is the CIO of the Prytania Group, a provider of asset management services and analytical solutions to investors in structured finance products. He has 20 years’ finance experience as an asset manager, economist and investment strategist.
Simon Perry (SP) is a managing director and head of European CDOs at UBS Investment Bank. He is responsible for the European cashflow CDO business at UBS encompassing the origination of CLOs and CDO on ABS.
Louise Bowman (LB) is a senior correspondent at Euromoney covering structured debt products and securitization.
