Citigroup has appointed Tom King as head of the European Investment Bank  (EIB).  His appointment is effective immediately.

King has been with the bank since 1989 and for the last five years has been global co-head of M&A working from both London and New York. King succeeds JJ McNeil who held this post from late 2001 until September 2004. He reports to Alberto Verme, global head of Investment Banking, and William Mills, head of Europe, Middle East, Africa for Global Corporate and Investment Bank.

SGCIB has appointed Juan Lopez Carretero as director in M&A in Madrid and Livio Fenati as director in M&A in Milan.
