CF takes apart the ratings process
A corporate's credit rating is central to its financial health. It determines cost of capital and drives investor relations. In CF's October cover story the magazine is going to explain how to make the rating process less tiresome and how best to manage your rating agency relationship.
CF will compare and contrast the different agencies and explain what they say makes being a rated company easier, as well as talking to investors to understand how credit ratings inform their investment decisions.
CF will demonstrate how particular corporates have benefited from managing their credit rating or suffered from neglecting it, and address current issues such as the regulation of the agencies and their perceived failure over recent scandals.
