SG CIB adds to DCM Origination team

SG Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has added Guiseppe Attene to its European Debt Capital Markets Origination Team and its Italian Debt Finance platform.

Attene, 36, arrives with nine years' experience from Lehman Brothers where he worked as a senior analyst in the European credit risk group before moving to Lehman's debt capital markets group in 1997 where, until recently, he was responsible for responsible for debt origination for Italian, Spanish and Portuguese institutions.

"This appointment is a key part of SG CIB's strategic objective to strengthen its position with financial institutions, in particular on the debt capital markets side, where we see great potential from the Italian client base," says Jean-Marc Blankert, head of financial institutions debt origination.

Attene will be based in London and reports to Blankert.
