NMB Bank reached a new milestone in 2025, delivering the highest profit recorded by a Tanzanian bank while demonstrating that sustained investment in customer experience, distribution and technology can translate into stronger growth across every major business line. Profit before tax rose 15% to TZS1.1 trillion, while the bank improved its cost-to-income ratio to 37% and reduced its non-performing loan ratio to 2.5%.
Investment in distribution remained a defining differentiator.
