Bank of Jordan remains the dominant custodian bank in its home market, maintaining a 75% share of assets under custody in 2025. Its position is supported by a specialist local sub-custody model for foreign institutional investors, covering safekeeping, settlement, corporate actions, income collection and client reporting.
The bank retained all its existing custody clients during the review period, including three major mandates secured after an international provider exited Jordan in 2023. More than 90% of its custody clients are foreign participants, underlining the bank’s importance as an access point to the Jordanian market.
