DNB Carnegie Private Banking’s approach to sustainability is built into the foundation of how the bank researches companies, constructs portfolios and engages with clients. That integration, running from equity research through to discretionary management and client education, is what distinguishes the bank’s sustainability offering in the Nordic market, strengthened since the merger between DNB and Carnegie, completed in March 2025.
The research department sits at the centre of this. More than 100 equity analysts across four Nordic offices cover approximately 600 listed companies – around 95% of the market value on Nordic exchanges – and sustainability is embedded throughout that coverage.
The annual DNB Carnegie Sustainability Guide, updated each autumn, surveys corporate attitudes across 471 companies on disclosure, diversity, renewable energy and sustainability-linked capital expenditure, combining reported metrics with qualitative analyst scores to produce sector-relative rankings.
