UniCredit’s SME proposition in Central and Eastern Europe is built around a regional financing framework translated into faster onboarding, automated credit decisions and specialist advisory services in individual markets.
In 2025, the bank combined €2.3 billion of preferential funding with digital improvements in Romania, Serbia, Czechia and Slovakia, while extending services such as ESG support and M&A advice to businesses that would not usually receive them from a large bank.
The centrepiece is UniCredit for CEE 2025, an umbrella programme for micro and small companies combining financing, account management and advisory services.
