QNB provides contracted liquidity provision for listed companies and market making services, giving it coverage of almost the entire local equity market across the two activities.
The bank’s liquidity provision mandates are agreed with individual companies and can be calibrated to their requirements, while market making appointments are governed by exchange and regulatory parameters covering quoted spreads, volumes and continuous market presence. Together, the programmes support trading in large companies and less-liquid stocks, including during difficult market conditions.
The impact is clearest in quoted spreads.
