DBS Private Bank created a sustainability proposition that reaches well beyond product labelling into the fabric of how it advises clients, structures giving and allocates capital. Over the review period, the bank embedded ESG ratings at the portfolio holding level, giving clients transparency on individual positions rather than relying on fund-level aggregates. Sustainable investment assets under management (AUM) – defined as investments carrying an MSCI rating of BBB and above – grew materially year-on-year, driven by consistent advisory push rather than passive market appreciation.
On philanthropy, the bank launched donor-advised fund services in mid-2025 in collaboration with Temasek Trust Foundation Advisors, extending its offering to clients seeking structured, tax-efficient pathways for giving.
