Arab Bank demonstrated strong FX growth throughout the review period, with broad client coverage and continued investment in its execution capabilities. Total FX trading volume in 2025 increased 27% year-on-year, while spot volumes rose 10%, giving the bank considerable momentum in its home market.
The growth reflected a strategy to expand the FX franchise through new client acquisition, a broader product offering and deeper relationships across segments. Arab Bank reported a 30% market share, calculated as total FX trading volume relative to Jordan’s external trade, while its five-year compound annual growth rate for FX volumes reached 14.6%.
Technology supported that expansion.
