In 2025, Doha Bank made payments and trade finance much easier for corporate clients in Qatar, moving more services online as transaction volumes grew.
The bank launched a corporate mobile app shaped by feedback from large companies, government-related entities and SMEs. This broadened its Tadbeer online banking platform, providing account information, statements and service requests alongside transaction banking functions. New digital trade capabilities allowed clients to verify and approve letters of credit and guarantees online, open and amend guarantees, and track activity through enquiry dashboards.
Following enhancements across the digital trade finance offering, registrations on the platform rose by 40% to 45%
The changes addressed practical needs: travelling signatories could approve transactions remotely, multi-stage authorisation supported corporate controls, and groups could access accounts across multiple entities.
