Kotak Mahindra Bank strengthened its custody franchise in 2025 through growth in client mandates, investment in digital infrastructure and the expansion of its international capabilities.
Assets under custody increased by 16% during the year, while new custody mandates rose by 19%. Growth came from a diverse institutional client base that included global private equity firms, domestic fund managers, foreign portfolio investors and corporate clients.
Technology was an important differentiator. Kotak upgraded to the latest version of the Intellect custody platform, improving processing capabilities and Swift connectivity.
