Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management has built its North American ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) franchise around a fully integrated firm whose investment banking, asset management, global markets and research capabilities are available in the same conversation as portfolio construction and estate planning.
That approach – which the firm calls the One Goldman Sachs model – is most visible in the day-to-day work of its advisers. When a founder needs to manage concentrated equity risk, when a family enterprise requires cross-border liquidity, or when a multi-generational household is restructuring its governance, the same adviser team can draw on the breadth of the firm rather than referring clients elsewhere.
