Euromoney Real Estate Survey 2020 Press Release

The Euromoney Real Estate Survey 2020 is our 16th annual survey of the global real estate markets and canvasses the opinions of the leading firms involved in the real estate sector worldwide.

Advisers, developers, investment managers, banks and corporate end- users of real estate are all invited to give their opinion on which firms they believe have been the best providers of real estate products and services in their market during the past 12 months.

Senior executives fill in the survey at country level, and results are based on peer nominations and voter participation scores.

For the 16th annual Real Estate Survey, we received 2778 valid responses worldwide.

The 2020 survey was conducted between March 5 and April 27, 2020.

Among the key findings:

Cushman & Wakefield is the top overall Global Adviser and Consultant for the third year running. It had a clean sweep in this category – winning the agency letting/sales, property valuation and research categories as well.

Skanska takes the top spot in the overall top Global Developer category, having been ranked sixth in last year’s survey. It also wins the office/business sector developer category. Sun Hung Kai properties is ranked number one in both the innovative green development sector, the mixed sector and the residential sector while Prologis tops the ranking for industrial/warehouse and Unibail-Rodamco for retail/shopping.

Cushman and Wakefield also takes the best global investment manager category this year from last year’s winner Colliers International, which was named best investment manager in Asia Pacific. Cushman and Wakefield was also named best investment manager in Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America, with the equivalent category going to Standard Bank in MENA, Pareto in Nordics and Baltics, Blackstone in North America and CBRE in Western Europe.
