Angola Best bank: Banco Angolano de Investimentos

Angola’s economy continues to suffer from low oil prices, a poorly functioning system of government and the influence of the state on the private sector.

One bank that nonetheless did well despite this difficult context was Banco Angolano de Investimentos – last year’s winner, which this year retains the title of best bank in the country. BAI increased its total assets by a quarter, to NKz1.36
